Welcome to Centerville! Centerville is the perfect, little town with a long, rich history. Everyone knows each other. Everyone wears their hometown with pride. Go Hangtown! Wait. What? That can’t be right. Nope. This town is actually called Hangtown. It’s all over the place. Get a look at a zoom meeting gone awry when the mayor proposes changing the town’s tricky nickname.

Welcome to Centerville is a new work from Andrew Miqueli inspired by this article from Summer 2020 about the real Hangtown. This piece was selected as part of the first season of Informed and Entertained, produced and developed by The Void.
